The Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Caste Welfare Automation System is known as MPTAAS. The MPTAAS Scholarship 2025 provides financial assistance for students pursuing higher education, undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses at government-recognized institutions in Madhya Pradesh. 

Economically disadvantaged people, such as members of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), are eligible to apply for the Madhya Pradesh government’s MPTAAS Scholarship 2025. The MPTAAS aims to reduce the gap for the people who cannot continue their studies due to financial reasons and help them receive the same opportunities as everyone else.

2. Log-in using your User ID and password and fill in the captcha code.
3. Thereafter, the MPTaaS application can be tracked using Track Application Status.

Eligibility Criteria for MPTAAS Scholarship in 2025

To find the students who really need money, Madhya Pradesh Tribal Welfare Department has set some eligibility restrictions. The following eligibility criteria will need to be satisfied in order to apply for the MPTAAS Scholarship.

• MP Home Address: Must be a resident of the state of Madhya Pradesh
• Caste Based: For the MPTAAS Scheme, the students should belong to any of the following categories:
• Scheduled Castes (SC)
• Scheduled Tribes (ST)
• Other Backward Classes (OBC)

Students must provide a valid caste certificate at the time of applying for the MPTAAS scholarship scheme.

• Educational Qualification: The MPTAAS scholarship can be availed by students studying any diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate course from an institution in Madhya Pradesh recognised by the state government.
• Income Based Eligibility: Family annual income of the applicant must be less than 6 lakhs.
• The applicant’s own family should not be involved in any administrative services nor any Government of India recognised institution.

Required Documents to Apply for the MPTAAS Scholarship 2025

Documents required for applying in MPTAAS Scholarship 2025 are given below:

• Student and parent Aadhar card.
• Income certificate

• Passport-size photograph
• Student ID proof
• Marksheet of the qualifying exam

• Residence proof like PAN card, voter ID, or Aadhar card

MPTAAS Scholarship Registration Process in 2025

 Keep the word in mind that it will be different from previous Years they will change the process for MPTAAS portal registration.

1. First to register for the MPTAAS portal, visit the official https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS.
2. To Sign up, Click the “Register New Beneficiary Profile” link on the portal to register.
3. A new pop up will show up on the screen with instructions. Select the box that says “I have read and agree to all the above terms and guidelines, and I adhere to these guidelines,” and Continue
4. Fill up “Beneficiary’s Samagra ID” and enter the received OTP and complete the process.

(Note: Samagra ID is the unique identification number provided by the government of Madhya Pradesh to its residents.)

5. To complete the registration process, set up your profile, and get the User ID and password.
6. Once registered, the applicant must proceed to fill in the application form.
7. Enter all the necessary details required in the form, like name, date of birth, father’s name, gender, address, mobile number, marital status, etc. 
8. Recheck the details entered and proceed further. 
9. Now, submit all the required documents.
10. After completing all these steps, the applicant will get confirmation with the application number through SMS or via Email.

How to Log in to the MPTAAS Scholarship Portal?

1. Visit the website of the MPTAAS portal: https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS
2. Enter the User ID and Password.
3. Enter the Captcha code and click on login.

• Students enrolled in Group 1, an amount of rupees 1500 is given to students staying in hostels, whereas an amount of rupees 550 is given to day scholars.
• Students enrolled in the second group receive an amount of rupees 820 and rupees 530 for the students staying in the hostel and day scholars, respectively.
• Students pursuing UG courses other than groups 1 and 2 are given an amount of rupees 570 to hostellers and rupees 300 to day scholars. 
• As for the final category, an amount of rupees 380 and rupees 230 is given to hostellers and day scholars, respectively.

How to Renew the MPTAAS Scholarship?

The MPTAAS Scholarship renews every year, and the applicant can renew their scholarship as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.

1. Visit the website of the MPTAAS portal: https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS
2. Enter the user ID, password, and captcha code.
3. After logging in, select “Apply Application.”
4. Fill out the required details like course year, admission type, etc. Then continue further by clicking on the “Go for Apply” option.
5. Review all the information and select the “Apply Renewal” option.
6. Verify the information and select the submit option.

How to Update the KYC on MPTAAS Portal?

The following steps should be taken to update the MPTAAS Scholarship KYC(Know Your Customer) Information:

• Visit the website of the MPTAAS portal: https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/MPTAAS
• Log in by entering User ID, password, and captcha code.
• Enter your Aadhar card information or Virtual ID 
• Choose amongst biometrics and OTP to update the KYC.
• Further, select the option “Get OTP” and enter the received OTP.
• The KYC will then be updated.
